Wednesdays | 6:30pm-8:00pm | For Boys 1st-8th grade
“Living for Jesus” is their motto and their goal is to minister to and nourish the boys in the community through Christ. Bible lessons are geared toward the choices these young men may need to make as they grow up. Craft projects, badge work, outings and camp-outs are some of the other activities the Cadets do throughout the Cadet season.
Sundays | 11:15am-12:00pm | For Children ages 4-highschool
Children ages 4 through 5th grade will be utilizing the Gospel Project, which takes them through the story of Scripture and connects each part with the big story of what God is doing in Jesus Christ. Middle School students use a video-based curriculum which helps them think and discuss about some of the basics of what we believe. High School students also use a video-based curriculum to explore some of the basic beliefs of the Christian faith, and to discuss how these beliefs connect with the experiences and choices they are facing.

The children and leaders are dismissed during the morning worship service and worship together in the Children's Worship Room. A time of worship for the children has been created from the traditional children in worship curriculum.

Nursery is offered on Sunday during the 10:00am morning worship. Trained nursery staff are provided for their care from birth to age 3.
Wednesdays | 6:30pm-8:00pm | For Girls 1st-8th grade
GEMS meetings consist of Bible lessons, badge work, games and crafts. They also typically have a service activity during the year and some other outings.
Wednesdays | 6:30pm-8:00pm | For High School Students
Youth Group seeks to be growing in their relationship with Jesus and with each other through discussion of topics that are especially pertinent to high school students, and through times of fun when we can share laughter and friendship in a safe environment.
Mondays | 7:00pm-8:00pm | 2nd Monday of the Month
Book Club loves to read and enjoys meeting together to discuss a selection of titles that vary in genre from new and classic fiction to autobiographies/biographies, historical fiction, and Christian fiction. Various members choose books for the group to read and discuss. Discussion questions are provided as a starting point.
Community Bible Study
Thursdays | 7:00pm-8:30pm
Community Bible Study is a cross-denominational Bible study for men and women. Each year the group studies a different book of the Bible.
Life On Life Discipleship
One of the ways Bethel is striving to grow in and share our faith is through Life on Life discipling relationships. Individuals meet for one hour each week for prayer, practice of sharing the gospel, sharing of life, exploring more of what the Christian faith is all about, and accountability for how their faith is being lived out.
Thursday Nights | May-June
Bethel's slow-pitch softball team is made up of men age 16 and over. They are part of the Zeeland Recreation Church League and are always looking for more players.

Prayer time meets on Sunday mornings in Room 201 for a time of prayer before the 10:00am morning worship.
Mt. Pisgah Dune Steppers
Wednesdays | 6:30pm-7:30pm
A group of people that meet at Mt. Pisgah (by Holland State Park) to walk/run up and down the 239 steps for exercise, encouraging one another as they go. Each person goes at their own pace. All ages are welcome. T-shirts are available.
Wednesdays | 8:30am | 1st Wednesday of the month
A group of Senior Citizens (no age limit) that meet for breakfast at Community Restaurant in Zeeland. Come join them for a good breakfast and a social visit.
WNAB (Wednesday Night At Bethel)

Enjoy dinner at 5:30pm for a time of fellowship and deepening of our connections to each other and our community. Following dinner, there is a time for fellowship and discussion. [ GEMS, Cadets and Youth Group Ministries also meet after dinner. ]

A neighborhood park located on Carlton Street right next to Bethel Church's parking lot.
Spring & Summer
A neighborhood garden located right next to the Bethel Church's parking lot. These garden plots are 8’x10’ of tilled beds and are available to the community as well as church members. The plots are planted in the spring with many donated seeds/plants. Each person is responsible for the upkeep of their plot throughout the summer and gets to enjoy the harvest of whatever they plant.
Great Adventure is a summer ministry that is held on four Tuesday evenings in July/August. It is an evening of games, snacks and a short lesson for children ages 5-14 in Bethel Church's parking lot from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

A neighborhood ice rink located right next to Bethel Church's parking lot.
Hand2Hand exists because a hungry child hurts and the weekend is a vulnerable time for any child facing food insecurity. Their mission is to eliminate local childhood hunger - one child at a time. Bethel partners with ZQuest Elementary School in Zeeland and provides backpacks filled with nutritious food. They also believe prayer is an equally important as the food they distribute, and are committed to praying for each and every student.
Knit & Crochet Ministry
The Knit & Crochet Ministry is a group of people that love to knit/crochet and use their gifts to help others. Hundreds of items have been knitted or crocheted and donated to the following organizations: Kids Hope USA, Harvest Stand Ministries, Lakeshore Pregnancy Center, Center for Women in Transition, The Bridge Youth Center and Sidewalk Sunday School in Grand Rapids.
Kids Hope USA
Volunteer mentors from Bethel Church meet once a week (either before school, during lunch or after school) with students at Lincoln Elementary School in Zeeland. The relationship between the mentor and the child often help the child develop a positive self-image.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is held every summer at Logan Estates Mobile Home Park in Zeeland. It is usually held the last part of July or the first part of August in the evening. VBS is for boys and girls ages 4-5th grade who live in Logan Estates. The children enjoy a Bible lesson, games, snacks and crafts.
Bethel is blessed to be able to support several missionaries around the world.
