“Mastered” (Romans 6:15-23)
During the season of Lent we are reading through the book of Romans together. During our Sunday morning worship in this season we will also be reflecting on some of these texts from Romans. This week we consider a passage in which Paul writes of the impact of believing in Jesus for our lives. We are no longer mastered by sin, but by the Lord.

“The Responsibility of Love” (1 Corinthians 8:1-13)
This Sunday evening we consider this passage in 1 Corinthians in which Paul begins addressing the issue of how we are to live in the world as Christians. In these verses Paul emphasizes that love must be the driving characteristic for how we relate to others.
